Quite a find, an extensively restored example, excellent floors, sills, battery boxes, and exterior bodywork. Show quality black paint, all new interior (black seats with white piping), and new headliner. Rebuilt engine offers strong performance (1965-1967 MGBs were the most powerful with 98hp), SUs appear to have been rebuilt, and driving through a rebuilt all synchromesh MGB transmission (far stronger and much more pleasant to operate).

New wiring harness, new starter and generator, everything electrical works, all working original instruments, even a working original BMC AM radio. Has been updated with new three point belts, and the back seat has been beautifully redone for two small kids, resembles the rear seats in an old Porsche 911.

Fitted with new wire wheels with correct sized 165 radials. Chrome is excellent, dashboard is not cracked and is virtually 'as new,' new oil cooler and lines, new radiator, long list of new parts installed by last owner. All in all, one beautiful (and very stylish) MGBGT.

AND a wonderful starting point...we can offer, to a prospective buyer, such additions as: full fabric sunroof (makes my own MGBGT quite comfortable in even 85+ degree weather, a powerful auxiliary heater (while the factory heater works well, a more powerful heater makes my own BGT comfortable in 20-25 degree weather.

What else? We can convert the car to 'modern' negative ground, add a nice digital stereo with bluetooth, electronic ignition (thus eliminating traditional tune ups), we can even offer an overdrive gearbox or a modern 5 speed. I have found with my own BGT, sunroof, two heaters, 5 speed, on and on, a well prepared MGBGT is one of the nicest all season classic touring cars.

Think about the competition.....Astons and Jaguars are very expensive and require equally expensive maintenance and repairs, Porsche 912s and 911 also very expensive, same with Alfa GTVs. Triumph GT6s are kind of small, and even Datsun 240Zs are getting pricey (and aren't really classic). But the MGBGT is easy to service, parts are generally very inexpensive and widely available,

And a lot of fun to drive.
