A beautiful classic sports car we sold seven years ago, has seen very little use.
Excellent BRG paint, mostly new chrome, excellent floors and chassis, Excellent battery box (most of these have rusted away). We were told the 1500cc engine has few miles since rebuilt, 150-160 psi compression in every cylinder, 60-65 psi oil pressure warm, no smoke, excellent gearbox, quiet valves. and the engine has been nicely painted and detailed at spots it would be difficult to get at. once the engine was installed.
Very clean tan interior, like new) panels, and carpets. Fabric covered dashboard. All gauges and all electricals work properly. Has a new tan cloth tonneau and a new tan convertible top.
Brakes have all been redone (with all new wheel cylinders and flex lines) and is added perhaps the most important safety item one can envisage for an MGA: an MGB dual master cylinder. For most of these early cars, with single circuit brakes, one little leak, four pumps on the pedal and....no brakes. BUT not on this car. This was a lot of time and cost for the last owner but makes this car extra special.
All new stainless steel exhaust, the most expensive chrome luggage rack, Has 15" wire wheels with very good tires. converted to negative ground, has a new digital stereo, very clean engine bay and trunk detailing, all in all, a very nice MGA ready for years of fun driving. And MGAs are among the absolute best all around classic sports cars...beautiful lines, comfy interior, 95+ mph performance, light precise steering and handling. Hard to beat.
